FAQ FOR ARTISTS
About Our Platform
What is our platform?
We are a curated platform for premium wall art. Our mission is to make the perfect art for any room, because we believe art is the soul of delight.
We collaborate with selected artists to create collections designed for modern interiors, offering high-quality prints and framed artworks to customers worldwide.
What makes us different from other art platforms?
We carefully curate artists and collections to ensure quality, originality, and visual consistency. Rather than operating as an open marketplace, we focus on thoughtfully selected collections and long-term relationships with artists.
What kind of artists do we work with?
We work with photographers, painters, illustrators, mixed-media artists, digital artists, and other visual creators whose work aligns with our artistic direction.
Do I need a large social media following?
No. We primarily evaluate artwork quality, originality, suitability for premium wall art, and how well it fits our collection. A large following is not required.
Can AI-generated artwork be submitted?
Submissions are reviewed individually. Artists must have the necessary rights to their work and be transparent about how it was created.
Applying & Artwork Selection
How many artworks do I need to submit?
We typically ask artists to submit between 5 and 15 artworks for review.
Will all submitted artworks be accepted?
No. Each artwork is reviewed individually based on quality, originality, print readiness, brand fit, and commercial potential.
Why might only some of my artworks be selected?
Some pieces may better suit our audience, product formats, or collection strategy. Our goal is to build cohesive collections while respecting the artist's vision.
What types of artwork perform best?
Artwork with a strong visual identity, cohesive series, compelling composition, and suitability for residential or commercial interiors generally performs well.
Can we ask for additional artworks?
Yes. We may request additional pieces if they strengthen a collection or align with customer preferences.
Can I submit new work later?
Absolutely. Artists can expand their collections over time. We may also suggest replacing artworks that do not perform well with our audience.
Is acceptance guaranteed?
No. All submissions are reviewed before approval. Applying or signing an agreement does not automatically guarantee acceptance.
Why was my application declined?
An application may be declined if the artwork does not fit our current audience, collection strategy, or release schedule. This does not necessarily reflect the artwork's quality.
Copyright & Ownership
Do I keep the copyright to my artwork?
Yes. Artists retain full ownership and copyright of their artwork.
What rights do we receive?
We receive a limited license to reproduce, market, and sell approved artworks during the collaboration period, according to the agreement.
Can I continue selling my work elsewhere?
Generally, yes. Standard collaborations are non-exclusive. Some special collections may require a separate agreement with exclusivity terms.
Can my artwork be used outside product sales?
Approved artwork may be used to promote the collection through our website, social media, email marketing, digital advertising, and other promotional materials.
Will my artwork be edited?
The artistic content is not altered. Files may be resized, cropped, or formatted when necessary for framing options or mockup creation.
The Collaboration Process
How long is the agreement?
The initial collaboration period is typically three months, allowing both parties to evaluate the partnership and collection performance.
When does the collaboration begin?
The collaboration begins when the approved artwork is published on our website. The artist is notified when the artwork goes live.
What happens after the first three months?
Before the agreement expires, both parties review performance and discuss renewal, collection updates, additional artwork, or concluding the partnership.
Can either party end the collaboration early?
Yes. Either party may end the collaboration through written notice according to the agreement. Royalties from completed, non-refunded sales remain payable under the normal schedule. Artist-related information, images, and listings are removed within 15 days of confirmation of the termination notice.
Can my collection launch later than expected?
Yes. Launches depend on the release calendar and the number of artists in the pipeline. An approximate launch date is provided once scheduled.
What happens after my collection goes live?
We manage product listings, mockups, production, fulfillment, customer service, and marketing. Our team also monitors performance and provides updates.
How involved do I need to be after onboarding?
Very little. We manage the operational side, allowing artists to focus on creating new work.
Sales, Royalties & Payments
How much do artists earn?
Artists receive a percentage of sales of approved artwork, according to the collaboration agreement and onboarding terms.
How are artwork prices determined?
Retail prices are set based on production costs, framing options, product formats, market positioning, and overall business strategy.
How do I get paid?
Payments are made through the payment method agreed upon during onboarding. Payment details are confirmed before payouts are issued.
When are payouts made?
Payouts are processed quarterly, based on completed, non-refunded orders from the previous month.
Will I receive sales reports?
Artists may receive sales reports alongside payouts, including completed sales and royalty information. Periodic updates may also include best-performing artworks and recommendations.
What happens if a customer requests a refund?
We handle refunds. Royalties are paid only on completed, non-refunded sales.
Collection Management & Renewals
What happens if an artwork is not performing?
Collections are reviewed regularly. We may recommend replacing underperforming pieces or expanding successful series. Reviews usually take place after the second month or during renewal.
Can I request the removal of specific artworks?
Yes. Artists can request artwork removal according to the collaboration agreement.
Will I be notified if artwork is removed or replaced?
Yes. Significant collection changes are communicated whenever possible.
What happens when the collaboration ends?
The license to sell approved artworks ends, except where necessary for financial records or pending orders. The collection, artist profile, and related materials are removed according to the agreement.
What happens to orders placed before the collaboration ends?
Orders placed before termination may still need to be fulfilled. A reasonable period is allowed to complete existing orders.
What if I want to end the collaboration?
Artists may terminate the collaboration through written notice according to the agreement. Outstanding royalties from completed, non-refunded sales remain payable.
